MT Tabane

Michael Tshepo Tabane (MT Tabane) was born and raised in a small South African village called Pankop. He has long been committed to uplifting his community/village, to ensure that kids and youth of his village are not excluded in the activities that are responsible for shaping the global economy. He is doing  this by addressing the educational divide between rural areas and urban settlements.

MT Tabane has mentored various individuals who have made significant progress in their career paths and respective industries. His dream is to see a South Africa that has the lowest unemployment rate globally. He believes that this is a task which is doable. He appreciates how difficult and hard it is to achieve it, but nonetheless, he is adamant that if all of us in our smalls ways play our part, we will undoubtedly attain this goal.

As a speaker, MT Tabane is a powerful, inspirational and thought provoking. He has been speaking for more than 6 years now. He gets invited to speak at schools, corporates, SME businesses and other educational institutions. He is known for his charismatic delivery of speech. He is an excellent storyteller. He believes that a speech that doesn't narrate a story that the audience can almost touch or feel, it's not effective.

As a thought leader, MT Tabane gets invited on Radio talk shows, Television shows, and he also writes for newspapers to share his experience, knowledge and thoughts around social issues and common current affairs or matters.

MT Tabane believes in the notion that the majority of concepts and philosophies we've been subscribing to from the beginning of our lives should be questioned and challenged, because the context(s) in which they were formulated changes or shifts. Context shape ideals, concepts and formulas do resolve problems, and most importantly, context does change, hence there's a necessity to revisit these concepts and scrutinise them.
